PE Water Supply And Drainage Pipe
Polyethylene (PE) water supply and drainage pipes for water supply are a replacement product of traditional steel pipes and polyvinyl chloride drinking water pipes.Water supply pipes must withstand a certain amount of pressure. PE resin with large molecular weight and good mechanical properties is usually selected. PE resin has low tensile strength, poor pressure resistance, poor rigidity, poor dimensional stability during molding, and difficult connection. It is not suitable as a material for water supply pressure pipes.However, due to its high hygiene index, PE resin has become a common material for the production of drinking water pipes.The melting viscosity of PE resin is small, the fluidity is good, and it is easy to process. Therefore, the selection range of its melt index is also wide, usually M is between 03-3g/10min.
Performance characteristics

◎Good impact resistance: PE pipe has good toughness and high impact strength. Heavy objects directly press over the pipe, which will not cause the pipe to break.
◎Reliable connection performance: The strength of the hot melt or electric melt interface of the PE pipe is higher than that of the pipe body, and the joints will not be disconnected due to soil movement or live loads.
◎Good construction performance: the pipeline is light in quality, the welding process is simple, the construction is convenient, and the comprehensive cost of the project is low.
Pipe connection
◎Electric heating welding, a special electric heating welding machine is used to connect the straight pipe with the straight pipe, the straight pipe and the pipe fittings.Generally used for tubes below 160mml.
◎The hot melt butt connection is connected by a special butt welding machine pipe, which is generally used for pipes above 160mml.
◎The steel-plastic connection can be connected by flange, thread, threaded buckle, etc.
